The Rainstorm

There is something to be learned from a rainstorm.

When meeting with a sudden shower,
you try not to get wet and run quickly along the road.

But doing such things as running under the eaves of houses,
you still get wet.

When you are resolved from the beginning, you will not be perplexed, though you will get the same soaking.

This understanding extends to all things.

Very interesting - I guess you can run but you cannot hide!

Yeah, basically you get soaked no matter what you do, eh?

I like this quote, though. It's important to keep things in perspective, especially when life takes you by surprise.

Yesterday's comments on Dale's blog inspired me to post it.

How's the shoulder? Better I hope.

:)

You know, I discovered that same principle on my own a while back.

Great food for thought.
